Tenggol Island has just one small resort, so is relatively undeveloped. It is fairly far from land and muddy rivers so usually has clear water. This makes it an excellent place for snorkeling and diving. We wanted to stop and snorkel but there was just one good mooring and it held a raft of fishing boats. The water was too deep and/or too full of coral to anchor so we sailed away.
